Compass Executives were engaged by European Investment House, G Square Capital, to source an HR Director for Community Health Eye Care (CHEC).

This was a critical hire for CHEC, who were looking to secure an established HR professional who would act as a key member of the leadership development team, driving efficiencies within the business, set and deliver HR strategy and implement best practice at the organisation.

Compass Executives were engaged by August Equity backed Esland Care to source an experienced Chief People Officer for the business, to mature the HR capability in line with the rapid scaling-up of the business.

Given the varying support offered by Esland Care – chiefly complex needs of children and young adults’ specialist care – it was imperative for the successful candidate to have a similar background. As such, Compass Executives undertook a focussed, research-based search, also drawing upon our market knowledge and network of experienced HR Directors within the specialist care sector.

A three stage interview process, including validation by the Investor, was completed which resulted in a first-time appointment within 4 weeks of the process commencement.

Compass Executives were engaged by specialist care (children’s and adults) charity, Norwood, to source a business critical interim HR Director for the business, who would be responsible for transforming the human resources offering within the business.

Given the variety of support offered by Norwood – on both a children’s and adult basis – there was a key requirement to source an emotionally intelligent, people focussed HR professional capable of managing and overhauling the human resource function.

Compass Executives were able to deliver an interim HR Director solution in a timescale of less than 4 weeks, which included a three-stage process with the successfully appointed candidate made first time.

Compass Executives were mandated by Cruse Bereavement Care to source a Director of Finance and Corporate Services as part of a newly created role, to have significant involvement in the creation, and roll-out, of a brand new 5 year strategy for the business.

Over the course of 6 weeks, Compass Executives were able to draw upon an extensive network of appropriate candidates with both Finance and Corporate Services expertise within a social care environment, to present a shortlist of highly suitable candidates. A successful search was completed, and the identified candidate was appointed first time.

Compass Executives worked in partnership with the Homecare Association to support the leading membership body for homecare providers with three Director level appointments: Communications, Campaigns & Marketing Director; Policy, Practice & Innovation Director; and a Director of Finance & Corporate Services.

Each hire required a rigorous market-mapping service to identify potential leaders who would be part of a massive transformational phase in the organisations history – including a re-brand from the UKHCA to the Homecare Association.
