Compass Executives were appointed to source an interim Chief Financial Officer – originally on an interim basis which later developed into a permanent mandate – for Octopus Healthcare owned One Healthcare.

The successfully appointed CFO would be responsible for ensuring strong financial foundations from which a growth strategy could be realised, requiring a candidate with a proven background in the Private Acute industry who could demonstrate the ability to be hands-on, combined with strong exposure to private equity backed healthcare environments.

Off the back of the success in sourcing the Chief Financial Officer, Compass Executives were also mandated with a Chair requirement, as a result of the original Founder moving on from the business.

Compass Executives were appointed by Schoen Clinic to source a UK based Finance Director to be responsible for overseeing all UK operations, along with leading on all aspects of financial performance based on the planned, and anticipated, growth – in line with the wider business strategy.

Compass Executives were able to draw upon the extensive network of finance professionals to identify a shortlist of candidates who were all invited to interview when the shortlist was presented to the Board. The ensuing process saw a preferred candidate unanimously identified, with an offer extended and accepted to said candidate, who then was able to start in a timescale of less than 5 weeks after the initial approach was made by Schoen Clinic to Compass Executives.

Compass Executives were mandated by Moonray Healthcare, the biomedical investment arm of Fidelity International to source a number of Hospital Directors for Optegra – a leading International Ophthalmology provider – following failed efforts from other means of resourcing.

This subsequently led to the exclusive mandates of a Medical Director, and a Commercial Director for the business as a result of the high quality service provision experienced when sourcing four Hospital Directors for the organisation.

Compass Executives were exclusively mandated by Dolphin Homes to source an exceptional Finance Director as part of a newly created position in the business, during May 2020.

As a result of the outstanding process completed during the facilitation of an Operations Director at the organisation, and Compass Executives’ unmatched track record in the Adult Residential Care sector, the decision to appoint the team was a straight-forward choice.

A full scale executive search was undertaken by the Finance team, covering candidates with an appropriate background in either healthcare or social care, along with a track record in demonstrating the capacity to grow businesses in line with M&A and land acquisition activities, in Private Equity backed environments.

Compass Executives were exclusively mandated by Synova Capital backed PreventX – a leading provider of online-led sexual health testing and diagnostic services – to source a Chief Commercial Officer.

As a result of our previous relationship with the current Chief Executive Officer, Compass Executives were invited to a competitive pitch where we demonstrated the key attributes PreventX were looking for in a search partner.
