History

Compass Executives is the dedicated search and advisory services offering within Compass Recruitment Solutions (CRS). Formed in 2011, Compass Executives was founded by the Directors in response to an ever-growing requirement for executive level talent in the investor backed health, care, education and life sciences sectors.

This entirely separate offering concentrates solely on executive level positions that drive organisations forward, including: CEO, CFO, COO, Chair, Trustee and Non-Executive Director roles.

Compass Executives work specifically in the healthcare, education and life sciences sectors, focusing on Board appointments from Chair and CXO, through to senior management within the sectors. We work with clients ranging from equity backed houses, privately owned enterprises and advisory services organisations, and have dedicated Practice’s with devoted Consultants assigned to each vertical.

Whilst our dedication to understanding our sector is of paramount importance our networks are enhanced by those from relevant and transferable market sectors.

Compass Executives are proud recipients of the Search firm of the year award at the 2022 HealthInvestor Awards in June 2022 – the first time the category had been introduced at this industry-leading ceremony. In 2017, 2019 and again in 2021 the team were awarded the prestigious accolade of Recruiter of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards, where we were recognised for the value of our service in the health and social care space, as part of Compass Recruitment Solutions (CRS). In 2019, we were also awarded the Recruiter Award at the LaingBuisson Awards, again as part of CRS.

Working only in healthcare, education, social care and life sciences – the most personable of sectors – we realise that marrying the values and aspirations of our clients with the right individual is crucial. To secure the best talent transparency is key, our processes are based on a collaborative approach working in partnership with candidates and clients alike to add value to the sector in both the short and long term.
