PreventX has over sixty contracts with local government public health authorities and NHS Trusts, and in 2019 had over 150 active services nationwide, providing the delivery of around one million on-line sexual health tests each year.
Owing to a pre-existing relationship with the current Chief Executive Officer, Compass Executives were invited to pitch, and subsequently win, a proposal to conduct a full executive search for a Chief Commercial Officer who would be responsible for developing the commercial, marketing and business development capacity for the business, as well as support the CEO and NED’s to raise the profile of the organisation within the market.

We held a competitive process and took proposals from 6 firms so that we had a strong cross-section of single-handed head-hunters and larger corporate executive search companies. I had worked with Compass Executives before so I could have just given the assignment to them but I wanted to see how the team would benchmark against some of the largest players.
