Meet the Team

Richard joined Compass Executives as a Senior Research Associate in 2022, following a highly successful 15 years’ experience as a recruitment consultant for the executive Accountancy and Finance markets.

Richards’ experience spans both boutique services, and large-scale corporate organisations, where he developed relationships with both clients and candidates. Typically, he was responsible for placing CFO, Group Finance Director and Financial Controller mandates into fast-growth SME’s, and Private Equity backed businesses.

In addition to his involvement in Finance, Richard has considerable experience in the education space dealing with Governing Bodies, Chief Executives and Headteachers. He has previously supported his children’s infant school as Vice-Chair of Governors, alongside volunteering his support.

Outside of work, Richard plays the guitar and bass and still regularly attends gigs where possible. Much of his spare time is spent with his family.
