About our Client

Our client is a healthcare provider, with established roots in out-sourced NHS services. The organisation is PE-backed by an established, independent investment company and has grown significantly via a series of strategic M&A investments.

About the CFO Role

The CFO role is both a main Board and Executive position and is primarily responsible for all financial and statutory reporting matters. The role is expected to lead on strategic financial planning, investment appraisal and planning in terms of long-term contracting, investment capex and acquisitions by implementing the group strategy, investment planning, commercial business development supporting profitable growth and driving efficiencies.

Skills/Experience Required

• Qualified accountant with senior level experience in public and/or private equity environments.
• Delivery of monthly financial KPI reporting to Board, Exec and across the group.
• Enhance budgeting process to represent all components of the group each budget using consistent KPI’s/drivers relevant for its part and consolidating upwards in transparent manner.
• Development of group and divisional dashboards to ensure timely, systematic accurate, relevant, and insightful management information across the group (including trending/budgeting of KPI’s/variance reporting).
• Effective bank and investor relations.
• Create a dynamic risk management approach for consistent implementation across the group, including agreed format for group and divisional risk registers.
• Create annual reporting cycle and calendar to help shape overall governance/reporting structure in its totality.
• Create a measured and balanced delegated authority mandate for appropriate corporate governance and financial control from ‘board to ward’ starting point will be from legal agreements from the investor.
