About our Client

Our client supports people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, mental ill health, autism and associated complex behavioural needs. The organisation is PE-backed by an established private equity firm that invests in high quality businesses to achieve accelerated growth and deliver strong returns.

About the Chief Executive Officer Role

To provide inspirational leadership and management to the organisation and its staff, achieve investor commercial objectives and position the business for sale in line with optimum market conditions. Achieve annual business plan and budgets.

Skills/Experience Required

• Demonstrable track record of leadership gained at CEO / COO / MD level within the health / wellbeing / social care arena, notably taking a company from year on growth stage to successful exit.
• Preferably with appropriate Private Equity/Venture Capital Experience.
• Experience of delivering acquisitions and post – acquisition integration.
• Preferably to have experience in building and developments, particularly opening and filling new sites.
• Operational success at executive level and able to demonstrate tangible quality outcomes.
• Commercial acumen and proven track record of profitable growth.
• Experience leading a complex multi-site business.
• An appreciation of the subtleties of operating in an environment with multiple stakeholders and substantial regulation and scrutiny.
• Experience of running circa £50m + revenue businesses delivering 20% margins.
• Developing a track record of Local Authority relationships to enhance opportunities.
