CFO | PE-Backed Social Care Provider

Compass Executives have been exclusively retained on a mandate to recruit a CFO for a newly created, PE-backed, social care provider.

About our client

Our client is a carve-out from an existing operator with a strong market reputation. A portfolio of existing homes will transition with the group and there is a commitment of significant CAPEX from the private equity backers, to develop new sites and possible strategic acquisitions.

About the CFO role

Due to the nature of the role and the establishment of a new brand and operating company, initially there will be a requirement to be present in the South East.

• Partnering with the CEO, the CFO will become a key decision maker and leader within the business
• There is a modest finance team in place and the CFO will be responsible for growing, leading and developing this team
• Implementation of robust controls and governance, improving efficiencies, systems and processes
• Key stakeholder engagement across the group, including regular investor updates
• Lead on all M&A activities
• You will provide input into strategic and commercial developments of the organisation and create a robust structure capable of adapting to a fast-paced and high-growth environment

Skills/Experience Required

• The CFO will have experience of operating in the care sector and ideally in an investor-led environment
• Demonstrable ability to balance a hands-on approach with strategic leadership
• A strong communicator and relationship builder when it comes to key stakeholders internally and externally
• A strong leader, the CFO will have successfully built and developed high-performing teams
