Compass Executives are delighted to be attending the annual LaingBuisson Awards 2019, along with sponsoring the ‘Rising Star Award’ for the third consecutive year as a Silver Sponsor. The Award is aimed at recognising the emerging top talent within the health and social care sectors, highlighting the best talent on offer.

Director of Healthcare at Compass Executives, Sam Leighton-Smith, Group Development Director of Compass Holding Group, Luke Osborne, Senior Associates, Ben Westcott, Kieran Mouser and Abigail Hobden-Bada, Executive Researchers Andra Parvu and Rachel Carrick, and Head of Marketing and Communications, David Bland are all attending from the Compass Executives team.

The LaingBuisson Awards are considered the Oscars of health and social care. Now in their 14th year of recognising excellence, they are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their advisors.

Last year they received over 375 nominations, with the winners on the night receiving their Awards in front of an audience of over 1,000 of their peers. The Awards are hosted at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, a fantastic, modern venue in sight of the Houses of Parliament and opposite St Thomas’ Hospital.

The LaingBuisson Awards’ audience comes from a wide range of specialisms across UK healthcare, with the majority of guests being key decision makers in their organisations. Last year we had more than 70 CEOs and Heads of Healthcare in attendance.

This event offers a unique opportunity for organisations who operate in, or support and service, the fast developing world of independent health and social care to network and promote themselves to clients and their peers.

The Awards also partner with a charity each year to hold a silent auction on the night – last year they raised £13,410 for Age UK.
