Compass Executives are looking forward to attending the industry-leading HealthInvestor Power 50 which is held annually to recognise the industry’s most influential leaders. Director of Compass Executives, Sam Leighton-Smith, Senior Associate, Ben Westcott, and Group Development Director of Compass Holding Group, Luke Osborne, will be attending on the night.
The Power Fifty is an annual gala dinner attracting over 300 of the independent healthcare industry’s leading figures to hear who HealthInvestor’s readers have voted as the most influential person in the independent healthcare sector over 2017.
Now in its ninth year, the HealthInvestor Power 50 is one of the most established nights in the health and social care calendar. For the best part of a decade, this evening has brought together the leading individuals in the sector for an evening of celebration, contention and vigorous debate over the shortlist.
Over time, however, it has become clear that in an innovative and evolving market, it is becoming ever harder to compare the merits of individuals with such varied skillsets and roles – which is why this year there will be a number of significant changes to the event.
In 2017, the HealthInvestor Power 50 will celebrate the most effective and inspiring leaders across six key aspects of independent healthcare. The sector’s most influential leaders will be split into their areas of expertise as per the categories listed on the Power 50 webpage, and then, before the night itself, they will be ranked via blind ballot by the other members of the HealthInvestor Power 50.
By introducing peer recognition into the Power 50 process, we expect this new format to provide the truest possible representation of where the influence lies amongst the sector’s key movers and shakers
The Grand Prix Award, the top award for the individual who’s deemed to have had the most successful year, will be voted for jointly by both the Power 50 and the HealthInvestor community.
