In June 2021, Compass Executives were exclusively mandated by Bridges Fund Management to source a Chief Executive Officer as part of a new market entrant opportunity for the fund.
Compass Executives were chosen after a competitive pitch process with “unrivalled market knowledge”, “a leading track record of investor-led CEO placements” cited as deciding factors.
The assignment involved an in-depth yet highly-targeted search across the healthcare services marketplace. A long-list of prospective CEOs was created from which in-person assessment narrowed those suitable to eight candidates.
A three-stage interview process was conducted, culminating in a business plan presentation to the investment committee. An appointment was made first time.
