Compass Executives were exclusively mandated by Synova Capital backed PreventX – a leading provider of online-led sexual health testing and diagnostic services – to source a Chief Commercial Officer in April 2020.

PreventX is the UK’s leading provider of online-led sexual health testing and diagnostic services. It is the only company with a fully integrated laboratory model. PreventX offer a superior end user experience at a lower cost to Local Authorities and the NHS when compared to traditional delivery models.

The Chief Commercial Officer would be accountable for devising and executing a commercial development strategy and detailed plans to realise the in-year and strategic growth ambitions of PreventX.

A critical purpose of the role is to develop the commercial, marketing and business development capability and processes within PreventX to realise the shareholder’s ambition. Also, to support the CEO and NEDs to raise the profile of the business in the market and to leverage favourable stakeholder influence. As a member of the PreventX Executive Team the CCO plays a full role in the leadership and strategy of the business.

Owing to a pre-existing relationship with the current Chief Executive Officer, Compass Executives were invited to pitch, and subsequently win, a proposal to conduct a full executive search.
