Group Director of Operations | Social Care | International Investors

Compass Executives are exclusively partnering a leading National Specialist Care Group to source a Group Director of Operations. This is a business critical position sitting on the Executive Management team, reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive.

Our client supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries through specialist residential & supported living services and outreach support. They are proud to hold ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC status across 94.5% of their services but continually strive to improve. One of the key responsibilities of the successfully appointed Group Director of Operations will be to oversee integration of a number of services ensuring quality, operational effectiveness and team cohesion are maintained. They will deliver growth and financial performance across a significant footprint through both new developments and small bolt-on acquisitions.

Compass Executives are keen to speak with highly successful and experienced operators within social care. More than 5 years’ at Director Level is a requisite. Individuals must possess a track record of multi-site operational leadership exceeding £50m t/o including management responsibility for a large and dispersed team. Inspirational leadership and an ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement is imperative.

Experience with specialist care settings is highly advantageous. Capacity to work at pace, develop talent and exert influence at Executive Management Level are amongst key attributes sought.
